Native Puppets has an ongoing ‘Animation Fight-Out Challenge’, aimed at creating a platform for aspiring and budding students to showcase their skillsets and feel rewarded and recognized. The main Sponsor is ‘Autodesk’ and there are several other Community Partners.
Registrations will remain open till October 7th for the Retrologue Competition. To get regular notifications regarding the Competition, it is beneficial to Register at the earliest.
This Competition is ONLY for STUDENTS who are currently pursuing to learn Animation, at any level.The Winner will need to submit a proof of being a Student of Animation. Failing to produce proof, the prize will be forfeited and handed to the next in line contestant.
Regarding the Software used for the competition – It is mandatory to use at least ONE ‘Autodesk’ product, either for planning purposes, modeling a prop or for Animation purposes. Autodesk offers a wide range of its softwares (including Maya, 3DS Max, Softimage, Mudboxetc) for ‘Free’ to the Student community. Visit Autodesk Download Page HERE.
The ‘Submission Form’ will be open from September 30th to October 14th, 2013. However, you can submit your ‘entry’ as many times as you would like before the deadline. It is also a good idea to do a test submission, to be sure that it works for you.
