“With an intriguing storyline, endearing lead characters, adventure, humour, music and fun, the feature-length animated film ‘Kutti Chetan and his Friends’ seems to have got what it takes to challenge the mythological heroes currently ruling the Indian animation scene.”

The film is now at the production stage, with teams working in Manila (Philippines) and Shanghai (China). Going by their current estimate, it looks like they will be able to meet their December 2008 deadline.
DREAMS also has 2 other productions on the anvil – ‘The Trap’ and ‘Inside me’, both of which are in the pre-production stage.

‘The Trap’ is a 90 minute animated feature film based on a mythological story, but it is being narrated in a very modern way. This film is targeted at a slightly older audience – from teenagers to adults. Deepak Jadhav, the co-founder of DREAMS and director of Kutti Chetan, has plans to use a unique style for this show, which will be a combination of anime and Indian culture. He recently went to Japan for his research and worked with Japanese artists. This project has the huge gaming potential and will also appeal to an international audience.

‘Inside Me‘ is something that Deepak wanted to do for Indian kids. The subject deals with health, and will take audiences into the intriguing world inside our body. The unique subject matter of the film calls for the use of 3D animation and Deepak has been working with Indian as well as Canadian pre-production artists. So far, close to eighty percent of pre-production has been completed and production will begin soon.
